Brand Voice & Storytelling Curator
Margie Mae’s Holiday Decor
Holly Margaux is the storytelling voice behind Margie Mae’s Holiday Decor, bringing warmth, clarity, and timeless elegance to every piece of content that represents the brand. With decades of experience in narrative writing and editorial storytelling, Holly translates the heart of Margie Mae’s into words that feel personal, refined, and deeply rooted in tradition.
Originally from Vermont, Holly spent much of her career as a journalist with a local newspaper in White River Junction, where she built a reputation for thoughtful storytelling, community-focused writing, and capturing the small moments that matter most. After retiring from journalism, she relocated to Arizona five years ago, drawn by the beauty of the desert landscape and the opportunity to continue telling meaningful stories in a new chapter of life.
Now based in Arizona, Holly brings a seasoned perspective shaped by years in print journalism, motherhood, and family life. She is a proud mother of two adult children and a grandmother to two. Roles that deeply influence her appreciation for tradition, togetherness, and the emotional importance of celebrations.
Through blog features, seasonal reflections, and design-driven content, Holly highlights the artistry behind custom holiday lighting and décor while honoring the memories and emotions that make each installation unique. Her voice bridges classic holiday tradition with modern luxury, supporting Margie Mae’s mission to create stress-free, joyful celebrations, one beautifully lit wreath, tree, and garland at a time.
